I’m the CEO and founder of the International Association of Creative Arts Professionals where I help artisan entrepreneurs craft business success from their creative passions. I also run a three-day event, the Creative Arts Business Summit, which is designed to help creatives take the time to work on rather than in their business. I work with people ranging from fiber- and mixed-media artists to jewelers to writers. Many creatives think that making money and making art are mutually exclusive. If you ask my clients, they’ll tell you I help them to think about business differently so that they are able to run a profitable business and enjoy a wonderful life.
The biggest help has been in the area of focus. It’s easy to be scattered, but Profit Pods have a system that keeps me on track. You know you’ve got a call every other week, so you need to show up having done the work. I also like the connections that I’ve made with other Pod members.
I met Lisa at an event years back and had been following her. I knew she had grown a successful business, and I knew that she was very social media savvy. Social media is always changing, and I wanted to work with someone who stayed on top of it.
Because of Lisa’s knowledge and skill in the social media area, the biggest benefit has been the ability to ask her questions and get answers for my specific situation.
Just do it! This is a wonderful opportunity to get coaching from Lisa, enjoy the camaraderie and support of a group of other women business owners, and build your business.
